Component based software engineering vs Service Oriented Architecture
What is the real difference between component-based software engineering
and Service Oriented Architecture?
To me, it seems like SOA is a new name (and buzzword) for Component-Based
software engineering with web services and SOAP standard. Am I missing
something? Is there something in SOA that is not present in CBSE?
I have tried to solve this question by googling, but the results I got
were research articles behind paywalls.
